Here's the Scoop on Me...

Hello new and old classmates!! To my new classmates and old ones that have forgotten, here is of summary of me.

I graduated from ECU this past summer with my degree in Rehabilitation Studies with a minor in Drug and Alcohol Abuse. In order to graduate, I had to complete a 450 hour internship which I did this past summer; 8-5...everyday. All I could think was "Welcome to the real world." I worked under and Occupational Therapist who is also a Certified Hand Therapist. I shadowed other OT's in the hospital and loved it! I looked forward to going to work everyday; who would of thought? I loved it so much I decided to persure a career as an OT. Wish me luck!!

In the meantime, I started working at A Small Miracle Inc. working full time as a Habilitation Technician. I work with autistic and disabled children and love it:) The first class to this certification really helped out at work; some of my clients use AT devices that we used last semester. Hopefully, this class will be just as useful.

To help pay the bills, I also am a waitress part-time. I have been working at Ledo's Pizza for over a year and a half.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and volunteering at my church as a youth leader and a small group leader. Working with teens is so much fun; so much drama and so little time! I also spend time with boyfriend, Tyler who I have been dating for eight months now:)

I am looking forward to this class and getting to know all of you!
